I am Johané Badenhorst, a multilingual individual fluent in English and Afrikaans, with a partial understanding of Sign Language. My hobbies include web development, programming, learning Spanish, solving Sudoku and crossword puzzles, reading, exercising, hunting, and both pistol and shotgun shooting. Since my second year of university, I have been passionate about tutoring, helping students in subjects such as Mathematics, Linear Programming, Statistics, Academic Writing, Database Development, and Web Programming. I truly enjoy tutoring and have always received the best feedback from my students.

My academic and extracurricular achievements are significant. In 2021, I was honored with the Top IT Achiever in Matric award and ranked 4th in a class of approximately 200 students in Grade 12. In 2022, I joined the Student Representative Council (SRC) as a member of the Marketing Department and achieved 3rd place overall in my first year of the Bachelor of Information Technology program. By 2023, I became the Head of the Marketing Department in the SRC, a role I continued in 2024 while also contributing to an international project team focused on developing a DIY educational hydroponics system in collaboration with Penn State University.

My educational journey began with obtaining my National Senior Certificate from Die Hoërskool Wagpos between 2019 and 2021, which qualified me for a bachelor's degree. I then pursued a Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in Software Development, at Belgium Campus ITversity from 2022 to 2023. Currently, I am advancing my education with a Bachelor of Computing, majoring in Software Engineering, also at Belgium Campus ITversity.
